Made layer by layer. Finished by hand.
We create one-off and small-batch decorative pieces from PLA, then hand-sand, prime and paint them to achieve the finish and colour your project calls for.
From personalised gifts and keepsakes to decorative objects and small-batch branded pieces, each project starts with a conversation about what you want to make and what’s realistically possible.
WHAT WE CAN MAKE
Small runs. Personal pieces.
Our 3D printing service is designed for decorative and personalised projects rather than industrial production.
01
Personalised Pieces
Names, decorative objects, keepsakes and pieces made for a particular person, occasion or space.
02
Gifts & Celebrations
Custom pieces for birthdays, weddings, events and other moments that call for something a little more personal.
03
Branded Pieces
Small quantities of decorative branded objects for businesses, events, displays and gifting.
HOW IT’S MADE
Printed precisely. Finished by hand.
Each piece starts as a digital model and is built layer by layer in PLA. From there, we sand, prime and paint it by hand to achieve the finish and colour agreed for your project.
01
We prepare the model
We check the design, size and printability before production begins.
02
We print it
Your piece is 3D printed in white PLA, layer by layer.
03
We finish it
The surface is hand-sanded and primed to prepare it for painting.
04
We paint it
We hand-paint the piece to match the agreed reference colour and finish.
GOOD TO KNOW
The nature of 3D printing.
3D printing has its own characteristics, and we think it’s better to be clear about them before we start.
THE SURFACE
Layer lines are normal.
FDM printing builds an object one layer at a time. We sand and finish each piece by hand, but subtle layer lines or surface variations may still be visible.
THE MATERIAL
PLA has its limits.
PLA is best suited to decorative indoor use. It can soften or deform in high heat and is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or outdoor conditions.
THE COLOUR
We match, not manufacture.
We paint to your agreed reference colour as closely as possible. Small variations can occur between screens, reference samples and the finished painted surface.
THE TIMING
Good finishing takes time.
Printing is only part of the process. Sanding, priming, painting and drying all take time, so we’ll confirm a realistic turnaround before accepting your project.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
Made for personal projects and small runs.
Scintello’s 3D printing service is intentionally small-scale. We’re a good fit when you’re looking for a personalised or decorative piece and value the finishing details as much as the print itself.
