These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of scintello.com and to enquiries and projects undertaken through Scintello.
Scintello is a service and brand operated by Sphere Media Technologies Co Ltd in Mauritius.
By using this website or placing an order with Scintello, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Our services
Scintello creates custom 3D-printed pieces and personalised printed products, primarily as one-off and small-batch projects.
Because our products are customised, the feasibility, appearance, price and production time of each project may vary.
Submission of a project request through the website does not constitute acceptance of an order.
A project will proceed only once its requirements, feasibility, price and other relevant details have been agreed.
Custom-made products
Custom and personalised products are produced according to the information, artwork, references and specifications agreed with you.
Minor differences may occur between digital previews, reference images and finished products.
For 3D-printed pieces, characteristics inherent to the production process, including visible layer lines and minor surface variations, may be present.
For personalised printed products, colours and details may vary depending on the material, surface, supplied artwork and printing process. Different materials may produce different results.
These normal characteristics are not necessarily defects.
Customer-supplied artwork and materials
You are responsible for ensuring that any photograph, artwork, logo, design, trademark or other material supplied to Scintello can lawfully be used for the requested project.
By providing such material, you confirm that you own it or have the necessary permission to use and reproduce it.
Scintello reserves the right to decline material or projects that we reasonably believe may infringe third-party rights or be unlawful or inappropriate.
Quotations and pricing
Prices may depend on the design, dimensions, materials, quantity, finishing requirements and complexity of the project.
Any quotation is based on the information available at the time it is issued. Changes requested after a quotation has been agreed may result in revised pricing or turnaround.
Production and turnaround
Estimated production or completion times are provided in good faith and may vary according to project complexity, quantity, material availability and other circumstances.
If a specific date is important, please tell us before confirming the project so that we can advise whether it is realistically achievable.
Approval
Where Scintello provides a design, layout, positioning or other proof for approval, you are responsible for checking it carefully before approving production.
Once an approved personalised item has entered production, changes may no longer be possible.
Cancellations and personalised products
Because Scintello’s products are made or personalised specifically for each customer, cancellation may not be possible once production has started.
Where work has already been undertaken or materials committed to a project, associated costs may still be payable.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law in relation to defective or incorrectly supplied products.
Issues with an order
If you believe there is a problem with your finished item, please contact us promptly and provide photographs and a description of the issue.
We will assess the matter and, where appropriate, discuss a reasonable solution.
Intellectual property
The Scintello name, logo, website content, original graphics and other Scintello-owned materials may not be reproduced or used without permission.
Customer-supplied intellectual property remains the property of its respective owner.
Unless otherwise agreed, Scintello does not acquire ownership of customer-supplied artwork merely because it is used to produce a project.
Website information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on scintello.com accurate and current. However, website content is provided for general information and may be updated or changed without notice.
Images of previous work or product examples are illustrative and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every custom project will produce an identical result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sphere Media Technologies Co Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or Scintello services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on scintello.com at the relevant time will be the current version.
