Yes. You don’t need to arrive with a finished 3D model. You can share your idea, reference images, sketches or other useful information with us, and we’ll assess the project with you.

The more detail you can provide about what you have in mind, the better.

Yes. One-offs are very much part of what Scintello is designed for. We also produce small batches where the project and quantities are suitable for our process.

We currently print our decorative pieces in PLA, a widely used 3D-printing material that works well for the type of custom decorative projects we produce.

They can be. Our pieces are printed primarily in white PLA and can then be hand-sanded, primed and painted to achieve the colour and finish required for the project.

Because the finishing is done by hand, each piece may have subtle individual characteristics.

Possibly. Layer lines are a natural characteristic of FDM 3D printing. Hand-finishing can significantly refine the surface, but 3D printing should not be expected to produce exactly the same surface as an injection-moulded or mass-manufactured object.

We prefer to be clear about what the process can and cannot achieve before starting a project.

No. Scintello is focused on decorative, personalised, one-off and small-batch projects, rather than industrial-scale manufacturing.

We currently personalise selected everyday objects including ceramic mugs, insulated tumblers, pillowcases and canvas tote bags.

The available products may evolve over time, so if you have something else in mind, you’re welcome to ask us.

Yes. You can provide artwork, photographs, logos, messages or other designs you’d like us to use.

For the best result, we may ask you for a higher-resolution or different-format version of your artwork where necessary.

Yes. Send us what you have and explain what you’re trying to create. We’ll let you know what is usable and what may need to be prepared or adjusted before printing.

Yes. Scintello is specifically designed for one-offs and small batches, so you don’t need to order large quantities to start a project.

Yes. We can produce small batches of personalised items for businesses, brands, events, corporate gifts and other branded requirements, subject to the product, artwork and quantity required.

Not necessarily. Screens display colour using light, while printing uses physical inks and materials. The colour and finish can also vary depending on the product surface.

We aim for a good representation of your artwork, but slight differences between screen colours and the finished item are normal.

We’ll review your request and come back to you about feasibility and the next steps.

Turnaround depends on the type of project, quantity, complexity, finishing requirements and our current production schedule.

If you need your project for a particular date, tell us when you contact us so we can confirm whether the timing is achievable before you proceed.

I would only include this question once we confirm exactly what your delivery/collection arrangement is. We shouldn’t make a claim on the FAQ that isn’t operationally established.
